Oregon Chocolate Festival
March 4-5, 2006 -- Ashland
Oregon has become a mecca for award winning chocolatiers, and they are coming together for the first time, to participate in an all Oregon chocolate festival. Set in the warm and inviting Grand Ballroom and palm-filled Conservatory of the Ashland Springs Hotel, Oregon chocolate festival participants include small artisan as well as better known Oregon chocolatiers: Cary’s of Oregon, Dagoba, Endangered Species, Theobroma, Lillie Belle Farms and Harry and David. Festival attendees may sample an array of exotic flavored chocolate bars, crunchy chocolate covered toffees and rich chocolate enrobed Oregon hazelnuts, berries and pears, award-winning delights along with Rogue Ales chocolate stout and chocolate flavored cheeses from Rogue Creamery. Chocolate products featured at the festival will be available for purchase allowing festival attendees to take home more than just sweet memories! Ashland Independent Film Festival
April 6-10, 2006 -- Ashland
In the intimate movie house setting, filmmakers participate in their screenings and after the films speak with audience members who seek a closer look into the creative process. Filmmakers have high praise for the welcome they receive in Ashland, many ranking it at or near the top of their festival experiences.

A Taste of Ashland
April 29-30, 2006 -- Ashland
Every spring the Ashland Gallery Association presents a two day sensory feast of art, wine, food and music called A Taste of Ashland. Join us for our annual walking tour of art, wine, and fine cuisine. Participating galleries display exceptional artwork and hosts a tasting of an Oregon winery, brewery, or coffee roaster along with cuisine samples prepared by Ashland's best chefs. The AGA is a non-profit organization and proceeds from this event help support the visual and cultural arts in Ashland and the Rogue Valley.

Spring Thaw Mountain Bike Festival
The Spring Thaw is Oregon's largest mountain bike event and this year’s Spring Thaw was a huge success and included something for everyone. Whether you were about to enter your first event, or were a seasoned pro, the Thaw tickled your knobbies like no other event can. Saturday’s schedule is packed full of good times beginning with our traditional Cross Country event, followed by the Shimano Kid's Race in Lithia Park, and ending with the free Spring Thaw Biker’s Bash at the Ashland Creek Grill in the evening!
