The Florence Events Center is home to an impressive variety of
performing and visual arts, conferences, conventions and a
broad spectrum of special events. The Florence Events Center
was built in 1996 and serves an ever-expanding number of
needs. Whether it is an evening at the theater, or a
conference for 400, an elegant wedding, a weekend of Chowder,
Blues and Brews, Storybook Theater’s presentation of “Oliver”
or Wizard of Oz” – there is something for everyone at the
Florence Events Center.

non-profit community theater group dedicated to bringing
quality entertainment to the community of Florence through a
variety of theatrical styles. Over the years, Last Resort
Players has shown steady growth in the scope and quality of
