"normal" family member is granddaughter Alice, who is in love
with her boss, Tony Kirby. When Tony's stuffy parents come to
visit, you can expect a few fireworks and even a police raid!

Zoolights 2008

Celebrate the Northern Lights, or wild polar bear nightlights, at the
Oregon Zoo's annual light-time festival. The zoo comes alive as you walk
through this winter wonderland of more than a half-million lights. This
winter festival includes our lighted zoo train, choral and ensemble
music, and our fantastic gift shop.

First Tuesday Art Walk
December 2, 2008 -- Hillsboro
A free self guided walk through local businesses that host and
celebrate a local artist/musician. Two art galleries and the
Walters Cultural Art Center hold receptions for their featured
artists that evening as well. Located on Third Avenue and Main

Tree Farm Walks

some tree identification, as well as why sustainable forestry

Guide Dogs
for the Blind - Monthly Graduations
December 13, 2008 -- Boring
Open to the public. Attend a graduation ceremony and get
acquainted with this incredible program. But, bring a tissue,
because it's always a moving event! Commemorates the efforts
of students and their dogs over their past weeks in class.
Puppy raisers also get a chance to say goodbye to their
graduating dogs, while the graduating class members bid
farewell to return to their homes and families with new
partners by their sides. Free to the public, for larger
