Directions on the Journey - Quilt Show
March 11-12, 2005 -- The
Metropolitan Patchwork Society presents a
quilt show which includes both traditional and art quilts. The show will feature
internationally acclaimed quilt artist, author and teacher, Ann Johnson. She
will present some of her work and discuss its inspiration during an Artist’s
Reception Friday evening from 8-10pm – the $25 admission includes admission to
the main show the following day. Saturday’s quilt show from 10am-4pm will
include a quilter’s boutique, silent auction and more. General admission to the
Saturday show is $5, seniors $4, and free for children under 10.

Barefoot Quilt Festival
May 7-8, 2005 --
The historic Estate will be hosting the Barefoot Quilt Festival featuring quilt
demonstrations and quilt displays. Mom will also enjoy the Spring Plant Sale and
make sure to treat her to the Saturday Luncheon Buffet or Sunday Mother's Day
